EPRD will introduce key competences into the education sector in Montenegro

EPRD has been contributing to the improvement of the education sector in the Balkan countries for many years. Understanding the value of education as the basis of development, we remain committed to increasing its quality in various countries we are active in.

Therefore, we are more than happy to announce that EPRD-led Consortium has recently been awarded a new project in the field “Integration of Key Competences into the Education Sector of Montenegro”. In the next 2 years we will be supporting the Ministry of Education and other Beneficiaries in their efforts to improve the quality of primary and secondary education in Montenegro by development of the national key competence curriculum framework, specifically STEM competences, and aligning it with the European Council Recommendation on Key Competences for LLL.

Our aim will be to to improve students achievement related to key competences for life-long learning  (LLL) and quality of teaching in primary and secondary education, to improve quality assurance system at all levels, and to develop education and teacher professional competences both in initial teacher education (ITE) and continuous professional development (CPD) with  regard to integration of key learning competences with particular focus on STEM disciplines.
