We’re pleased to announce that our company has started the implementation phase of the new project “EU-Japan Region-to-Region and Cluster-to-Cluster Industrial & Innovation Cooperation (IURC Japan)” in FPI – PSF 2019 Lot 2 “Technical Assistance” with the budget of nearly 1 mln EUR.
Clusters and regions in Europe and Prefectures and Special Economic Zones in Japan are developing to become innovation hotspots and cutting-edge technologies. They connect at local level eco-system research and innovation institutions, investors and companies that, ultimately, produce and sell products and services — and they play an essential role in the internationalisation of businesses, particularly SMEs.
The action will contribute to sustainable urban development and innovation in the EU and Japan by supporting selected regions and clusters in these regions to exchange best practices and knowledge, to enhance and internationalise respective regional innovation strategies of EU regions and Japanese prefectures while promoting international value chains.
The assignment will last until March 2023.
