10th EDF open for EPRD

Being the company from New Member State, EPRD was so far not eligible to start in large technical assistance projects in African and Caribbean countries financed under European Development Fund. This was due to the fact that New Member States did not actually contribute to 8th and 9th EDF.

This situation is to be changed along with the beginning of 10th EDF which will commence in 2008. The information which we received from Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is clear – Poland will actually contribute to the fund.

Certainly it was of EPRD’s interest, because it opens new perspectives for delivering long-term services in Africa. Moreover, we are getting prepared to this by performing short-term missions and establishing of strong networks. If there is a demand, special unit dealing only with tenders in ACP countries will be created. So far EPRD implemented c.a. 20 projects in that region and provided 27 experts.

Please contact International Department should you see an interest in establishing future cooperation principles or future competitive consortia.
