In the months of August and September EPRD implemented a series of successful workshops in Croatia. The purpose of the workshops was to train and provide support to potential grant applicants in preparation of project proposals and thus to ensure the use of EU assistance, and in particular IPA funds, in a timely and efficient manner. Support was provided in project preparation for three Grant Schemes in the area of employment, and namely: Improving labour market access of persons with disabilities, Strengthening the social dialogue, and Local employment development initiatives – phase II.
The workshops which took place in thirteen Croatian cities, including Zagreb, Split, Osijek and Dubrovnik, were attended by more than three hundred participants from not only around the country, but also from abroad, including from Slovenia.
The second series of workshops is planned for the beginning of 2014.
