On 23 June 2005, at the invitation of the EPRD’s Managing Director Mr. Tadeusz Pęczek, representatives of Ukrainian delegation from Winnitska Oblast visited EPRD’s premises. The delegation was composed of deputies of Oblast’s Council, the members of Ukraine-Poland Association in Winnitsa, educational sector workers and employees of self-governments and administration of Ukraine.
The guests were particularly interested in EPRD’s experiences connected with obtaining and handling EU resources as well as in possibilities of region’s development resulting from European projects and programmes being realised at present. The discussion, apart from current issues referring to pre-accession and structural funds as well as their functioning in Poland, addressed also the possibilities of future Polish-Ukrainian cooperation in economic development, tourism and cultural fields.
