On 9th April 2010, the Rector of the Jan Kochanowski University of Humanities and Sciences – Professor Regina Renz, Ph.D and Mr. Tadeusz Pęczek, EPRD’s President of the Board signed the Letter of Intent regarding the cooperation between the two insitutions.
The area of foreseen cooperation covers the current offer of services provided by both parts and concerns i.a. the transfer of innovative technologies and their implementation in companies, expertise services and opinions as well as the cooperation in creating the development research centres.
During the meeting, the Vice-Rector of the University – associate professor Jacek Semaniak – presented the possible ways of cooperation in implementing the projects financed from the structural funds, whereas EPRD’s Vice-President of the Board Mr. Zbigniew Włosek focused on the projects which could be implemented abroad and financed from the European Union pre-accession and external aid funds.
Starting the cooperation with the University will extend the institutional network of EPRD and will give a solid support of specialist knowledge for EPRD’s activities worldwide.
