Non-Key Expert to conduct a Study of Quantum Technologies in Japan
The Non Key Expert will be tasked to conduct a study through desk research and selected interviews to prepare a report providing an overview of Quantum Technologies in Japan and their international relationships, specifically with the EU in this field.
General Professional Experience
- Minimum of 10 years full-time proven post-graduate experience relevant to the assignment.
- Proven experience in digital policy and/or research and innovation.
Specific Professional Experience
- Proven professional experience in the field of Quantum Technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of the Quantum Technology R&D in Japan; public and private stakeholders in Japan and public and private sector programmes in the field.
- Understanding of the start-up and venture capital environment, notably on deep tech.
Qualification and skills
- University degree in a discipline relevant to the subject of the assignment (or alternatively 3 years of proven relevant experience additional to the requested minimum of 7 years of general professional experience);
- PhD in a relevant discipline would be considered as an advantage;
- Full proficiency in English and excellent writing skills;
- Speaks and reads Japanese.
- Ability to use independently standard office software and Internet applications;
- Capacity to work in team and under time pressure.
