As part of the EU funded ‘Development Education and Awareness Raising (DEAR) Support Team’ project which has been implemented by EPRD Consortium since 2015, three one-minute videos were developed to explain what the DEAR Programme is about.
The DEAR Programme is unique as it is the only EU global development programme focusing on EU citizens, in particular young people and the next generation of EU voters. The Programme makes it possible for Europeans to gain the knowledge and skills they need to make informed choices and take action to deal with global issues. It also raises awareness on issues of the day, such as migration, in support of the European Union’s Fundamental Values.
The three videos are part of the DEAR project’s communication strategy to raise awareness about the DEAR Programme. Development of further videos is planned for next year.
