Technical Assistance to design the Terms of Reference for the IT pilot project under IPA2008 in Kosovo

The education sector urgently needs capital investment to improve the daily functioning of the schools and the quality of education. The pre-university education strategy has ranked the introduction of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in all schools among its highest priorities and makes an explicit reference to building ICT infrastructure for processing data in education. The global objective is to support the Kosovo Government in improving the quality and efficiency of the provision of education and training services, notably by support for IT training and the supply of IT equipment to a select number of schools and after-school clubs which are to participate in this pilot action. The specific objective of this project is to: - draft the Terms of Reference (TOR) for a Service Contract under the IPA 2008 education programme ’IT pilot project’ - draft the tender dossier, including technical specifications, and needs assessment, for a supply contract under the IPA 2008 education programme ’IT pilot project’
