Agriculture and rural areas development program in the region of middle-east Poland

Agricultural Chambers from four Voivodships of middle-east Poland, Voivodship Offices, self-governed branch organisations and societies, local self governments and its unions, institutions and organisations involved in process of rural development, transformation and the development of agriculture.

Project have been qualified as precursory elaboration, serving elaborating system solutions, elaborating regional and sector programs in purpose of use in future financed from SAPARD As the main purposes of the project there have been determined: 1.Elaborating program of regional rural and agricultural development, which will allow boost local institutions and economical entitles to common activity for region and countryside inhabitants. 2.Identification of the sources of local, domestic and international support, for rural and agricultural development programme in the region of middle-east Poland. Revival in the process of rural and agricultural development on the area of the region is conditioned by: - Mobilization of the local resources – specifying the needs and abilities and the changes forecasts, - Development of the institutional structures (agricultural chambers, associations, safeguarding funds, mutual insurance companies, groups of agricultural producers, institutions for agricultural commodities turnover, branch turnover) - Introducing methodology and realisation techniques consistent with the rules of Pre-accession and Structural UE Funds (elaboration of gmina and regional strategic plans, selection of the regions to specialise in agricultural production, specifying homogeneous micro-regions, investment projects identification, establishing the hierarchy of tasks realisation, specifying measures, methodology and financing sources) - Promotion of the region in order to encourage investors, subsidies from aid and tourism development funds.
