Mid-term evaluation of the project ''Stabilisation of Tajikistan’s southern border region with Afghanistan (Phase 2)’’

EPRD will conduct a mid-term evaluation of the Stabilisation of Tajikistan’s southern border region with Afghanistan (Phase 2) project, the purpose of which was to increase capacity of Tajik Border Troops' to respond to illicit border activities, cross border threats and possible refugee influxes; as well as to increase institutional capacity of CoESCD’s to respond to natural and man-made disasters including the influx of refugees from Afghanistan. The evaluators will pay particular attention to the intermediate results of the programme measured against its expected objectives, and the reasons underpinning such results; and will provide the EU, the interested stakeholders and the wider public with key lessons learned, conclusions and related recommendations in order to improve current and future Interventions. The project will start in July and will be continued till December 2023.
