EPRD will conduct the Mid-Term Evaluation of the Ghana Employment and Social Protection Programme, the objective of which was to support employment and social protection in Ghana via achieving four interlinked key result areas: - Enhanced effectiveness and efficiency of the social protection system; - Improved Employment Policy Management at central and local level; - Strengthened technical and vocational education and training opportunities for the informal sector and in agricultural value chains; and - Improved access to effective Business Development Services and finance in an enabling business environment. The evaluation will assess there four GESP-actions in their entirety and will provide the relevant services of the European Union and the interested stakeholders with an overall independent assessment of the performance of the GESP, as well as, it will provide key lessons learned, conclusions and related recommendations in order to improve current and future Actions. The project will be implemented from January to July 2020.
