Improving the effectiveness of Regional VET Networks: working together to set up VET Centres of Excellence in Ukraine

This assignment fell under the work of the Strategic Project “VET Governance” of the ETF SP GOV, which is one of the seven strategic projects that implement ETF support to our 29 partner countries. The ETF approach on governance, as implemented by the SP GOV, focuses on empowering stakeholders to effectively design and implement policies at national, regional, sectoral and local levels through good “multi-level governance”. ETF promotes partnership approaches where social partners have an active role in governance at national and sectoral and/or levels. The work on VET Governance also includes support to financing issues of VET systems (tools, mechanisms for costing policy options and funding the system). In other terms, improving the monitoring of policies and ensuring their implementation, thanks to a support to the stakeholders in charge, are key priorities of the ETF through SP VET GOV.
