Formulation Mission for the EU-Nepal Trade Support and Private Sector Development Programme

ERPD will carry out Formulation Mission for the EU-Nepal Trade Support and Private Sector Development Programme (TPSD). The primary goal of this Mission is to appraise TPSD, in particular: · Review relevance, scope and focus of the programme proposed and of each of its components; · Assess institutional capacity of agencies involved, particularly Ministry of Commerce and Supplies · Discuss and define a programme governance structure with stakeholders · Discuss and define a programme of trade statistics in particular and statistics in general with stakeholders · Clarify implications for Nepalese budgetary system of the application of the centralised management system · Produce Action Fiche, Financing Agreement, Technical and Administrative Provisions, Logical Framework, guidelines for the call for proposals and detailed budget 1 for the Programme, and where necessary draft TORs The project will be implemented within July - August 2012.
