Study of pre conditions and direction policies for spatial management for the gmina of Morawica

Morawica Gmina Management Board

In pursuance of the requirements determined by the act dated on 7 July 1994 about the spatial planning, the main objective of the elaboration of conditions and directions of spatial planning in the study is to define the spatial policy of the gmina in the long term. Gmina Morawica is situated in kielecki poviat in the świętokrzyskie voivodship. The premises of the gmina’s authorities is located 14 km south-west of Kielce. The length of the gmina in the direction of north-south is about 20 km. But in the direction of east-west it is about 10-15 km wide. According to the geo-botanic division the gmina of Morawica lies on the border of Świętokrzyska land (Łysogórski District) and Miechowsko-Sandomieski Land (Staszowski District) The gmina Morawica encompasses the area of about 140 km2. The place of residence of the gmina’s authorities is Morawica, Administration Unit of the gmina Morawica is composed of 24 rural communities. Population of the gmina is 12 186 inhabitants and average population density is about 86 people per km2. From the north-west to the south-east in the area of Morawica runs the road no 73, which improves communication between Kielce and Tarnów.
