Legal support in implementation activities for ERDF R&D projects in Poland

In the past 3 years JASPERS has assisted 6 R&D projects in Poland in their development of proposals, understanding of the regulation surrounding the process and through the approval procedure with the European Commission: • Dolnośląskie Centre for Materials and Biomaterials (EIT+), Wrocław • Centre for Advanced Technologies (WCAT), Poznań • Centre for Preclinical and Technological Research (CePT), Warszawa • Centre for Biological and Chemical Sciences of the University of Warsaw (CENT III), Warszawa • Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies (CEZAMAT), Warszawa • Research Centre for Clean Coal / Chemical Coal Processing, Katowice/ Zabrze The objective of the assignment is, based on interview with the project teams and review of the relevant documentation, to provide clear and objective reports in the following areas of concern during the implementation of the projects: (i) legal alternatives for ownership, (ii) potential State aid issues, (iii) potential issues from adhering to public procurement rules, and (iv) potential financial and procedural issues.
