The Republic of Vanuatu is a country in Oceania. It is located at about 800 km north-west of Fiji, northeast of New Caledonia. It is situated on 83 islands of New Hybrids. Ex post evaluation of the education and training programme will be conducting as a sequence of the previous Project: Education & Training Programme – Vanuatu. Previous Project was present from March 2005 until April 2008. The main objective was to „contribute to the development of human resources In Vanuatu by providing opportunities to children to acquire knowledge and skills that could enable them to become productive members of the society”. Objectives of „Ex post evaluation of the education and training programme” (Edutrain) – Vanuatu 9 ACP VA 03/10: The Global objective is to contribute to the understanding and independent assessment of the relevance, impact and sustainability of EC-funded intervention 9.ACP.VA.03&10 Education and Training in Vanuatu. The specific objective (purpose) of this assignment is to undertake an ex-post evaluation of the project and provide the beneficiary country and the European Commission with substantiated information on the overall performance of the project: 9.ACP.VA.03&10 Education and Training in Vanuatu and its sustainability.
