The service contract: Detailed design and preparation of tender dossier and supervision of works for construction and rehabilitation of VET schools is a part of project within the IPA 2008: Strengthening the Vocational Education and Training in Albania. Overall objective of the project is to support the implementation of Albania’s National Education Strategy with special focus on Pre-University Vocational Education and Training, supporting national socio-economic development and cohesion through development of a coherent VET system and a well skilled labour force. The project purpose is to improve quality of learning conditions for students in VET schools, and to provide better education and training opportunities for the poor communities/areas. Specific objective of this assignment is to assist the EC Delegation in required documents preparation for launching and to assist in tender selection process for service contract: Detailed design and preparation of tender dossier and supervision of works for construction and rehabilitation of VET schools according to the rules and procedures set in Practical Guide to Contract procedures for EC external actions.
