Project description:

The overall aim of the project is to strengthen regional administrative capacity in the field of regional and rural areas development planning, including management of EU structural funds The project is directed at the development of human resources and at institutional and administrative capacity building in the area of regional development and rural development planning, EU structural funds, social policy and employment as well as SMEs. The international team of consultants will ensure support for regional and rural areas development, development of human resources and SMEs in the scope of: - formulating a regional operational programme - financial control and monitoring of programmes - adaptation of the Rural Development Programme to integrated programmes - formulation of a rural development programme for selected districts (powiats) - training in generating and identifying suitable projects, including compilation of formal proposals, for administrative personnel - assimilation of vocational programmes for adults to the needs of the labour market and prevailing economic conditions - raising of awareness of the EU Social Fund, its aims and funding possibilities - planning a strategy for enterprise development - creation of a network of enterprise centres at district level (powiats).
