Project description:

Subcomponent B2 Education is one of Rural Development Programme ingredients. Its purpose is effectiveness improvement of the educational system in the rural areas through activities focussing on improvement of the teaching process quality in rural schools and better use of school resources. That will guarantee graduates the level of knowledge, skills and abilities of learning, required in contemporary market economy and in consequence – will create situation favouring attracting new firms to rural areas through general improvement of human resources quality. Within the frames of subcomponent there are financing activities directed on: - improving quality of teaching in rural primary and secondary schools, - improvement of educational resources exploitation. Project purposes are realised through: - Trainings for teachers and schools principals, - Improvement of the schools’ equipment quality - Better use of computers to educational purposes - Improvement of the school buildings’ state; rehabilitation and upgrades - Consolidation of the schools network. Subcomponent B2 Education is implemented in 7 following voivodships: Kujawsko-pomorskie, Lubelskie, Małopolskie, Podkarpackie, Świętokrzyskie, Warmińsko-mazurskie oraz Zachodniopomorskie. The task of EPRD is support for activities and work of the Team of Rural Areas Activation Programme (PAOW) in Ministry of National Education and Sport (MENiS), Voivodship Programme Implementation Units, self governments and conducting research work within the scope of effects of the programme evaluation and project quality analysis.
