At the request of the Milk Processing Plant „MLECZ” in Wolsztyn wanting to secure financial backing from the Pre-accession Fund SAPARD Required Effect 1: The overall improvement of processing and marketing of agricultural and fish goods. Scheme 1.1:To obtain assistance for the restructuring of processing and improvement of the marketing of animal products. For the realization of the investment venture, requiring the modernisation of the production hall and production line for cottage cheese processing to meet EU veterinary and sanitary standards , EPRD prepared all the required documentation needed for the application. The maximum permitted level of financial assistance for this project was 50% of eligible costs The realisation of the venture, subject to financial aid ,was to make it possible to achieve: - high product and production sanitary and hygiene standards conforming to EU regulations - improved quality standards (consistency, structure ,texture) including extended shelf life of products for up to a few weeks. - highly mechanised, classical and repetitive production, in the main contributing to improved productivity and elimination of wastage of raw materials - improvement of the financial effectiveness of the company.
