EPRD will conduct the Final evaluation of the “Enhancing Access of Children to Education and Fighting Child Labour” programme, the aim of which was to combat child labour in Egypt, mainly through the provision of incentives to children and their families encauraging them to education and thus drawing them away from the labour market. The evaluators will pay particular attention to the results of the programme measured against its expected objectives, and the reasons underpinning such results; and will provide the EU, the interested stakeholders and the wider public with key lessons learned, conclusions and related recommendations in order to improve current and future Interventions. The project will start in March and will be continued till mid May 2021.
