EPRD will address the themes of personalised education and differentiation in education along with associated themes such as individualised instruction, connectedness, individual pathways and self-regulated learning. Personalisation may best be understood as a family of related innovations that extend over diverse fields, including pedagogy, curriculum, institutional organisation, instructional technology and educational philosophy. These innovations all seek to tailor learning and skills acquisition to individuals and to make the learning of individuals, across environments and life phases, more coherent, better connected and of greater value.
