The purpose of the project will be to support ETF in the research on learning environments that apply to adult vocational learning in non-formal (e.g. through community learning centres or in the workplace) and informal learning environments (e.g. by using the local libraries). The research will investigate whether learning environments that put the learners at the centre may help to increase access and quality participation of adults in learning and whether the innovation may be faster in non-formal and informal learning environments compared to formal settings. The assignment will encompass an initial desk review to make an overview of the latest literature about innovation in learning environments in non-formal and informal learning of adults, and identification of examples of practices as proved by projects, case studies, evaluation reports. The activities will start in May 2020 and will be continued till the end of the year.
