Supporting Study for the impact assessment for the CPR Review

This study shall provide input for the impact assessment (IA) that would accompany a revision of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), if the next Commission decides to revise it. The main purpose is to collect evidence and complement the available evidence in order to analyse potential future options for the EU legislation on construction products and to assess their possible impacts The study shall consider the regulatory fitness and performance of potential legislative options for the future, i.e. opportunities to reduce regulatory costs and to simplify the existing legislation without negatively affecting the achievement of the underlying policy goals (REFIT programme).
