The global objective of this assignment is to support civil society in the protection and promotion of democracy, human rights and fundamental freedoms worldwide. EPRD will provide technical support to the European Commission for the evaluation and selection of the proposals received under the 2019 EIDHR global call for proposals that consists of three lots: business and human rights, fight against torture and other ill-treatment and democratic accountability. The project will be implemented from January to October 2020.
