EPRD has been selected by the Delegation of the European Union to Zambia for evaluation of Critical Maritime Routes Law Enforcement Agencies (CRIMLEA) Programme. The focus of evaluations is on the assessment of achievements, the quality and the results of Actions in the context of an evolving cooperation policy with an increasing emphasis on result-oriented approaches and the contribution towards the implementation of the SDGs. The evaluations will provide an overall independent assessment of the past performance of the CRIMLEA programme, key lessons learned, conclusions and related recommendations in order to improve current and future Action, and key insights and concrete recommendations in terms of geographic scope, methodological approaches and support activities to feed into the design of a third phase which is envisaged during the first half of 2019 under the 11th EDF cross-regional envelope for maritime security in the EA-SA-IO region. This project will be implemented from January 2019 to March 2019.
