Study of pre conditions and direction policies for spatial management for the gmina of Pierzchnica

Pierzchnica Gmina Management Board

In pursuance of the requirements determined by the act dated on 7 July 1994 about the spatial planning, the main objective of the elaboration of conditions and directions of spatial planning in the study is to define the spatial policy of the gmina in the long term. According to the administration division the gmina of Pierzchnica belongs to the Kielce poviat in Świętokrzyskie Voivodoship. The gmina is situated 23 km south-east of Kielce. In the direction of east-west the length of the gmina is 15 km. But on the north-south it is 16 km wide. The gmina of Pierzchnica encompasses the area of about 100 km2. The residence of gmina’s autorities is Pierzchnica. The gmina of Pierzchnica consists of 17 rural communities. Population of the gmina is 4 842 inhabitants with average population density of about 97 inhabitants per km2. Communication system is composed of poviat and gmina roads. There are neither national nor voivodship categories of roads in the gmina. Close to the west border of the gmina (on the territory of the gmina of Chmielnik) runs the road no 73 from Kielce to Tarnów.
