The global objective of this Contract is to ensure implementation of the commitments made by Georgia in the Financing Agreement concerning the launch of the 3rd phase of the Budget Support Programme signed by Georgia and the EU in May 2015, and in particular towards consolidation of independence, professionalism, impartiality and efficiency of the judiciary, access to justice and right to fair trial, efficiency and fairness of the criminal justice system, and improvement of private and administrative law systems. The specific objective of this Contract is to assess the fulfilment of the general and specific conditions, criteria and verification indicators for purposes of disbursements of tranches under the 3rd BSP in line with the FA.
