EU Delegation in Lao PDR

EPRD, on behalf of the EU Delegation to Lao PDR will provide support to the ongoing Budget Support Programme and prepare the future Budget Support Programme under the EU Bilateral Cooperation with the Lao Government (2016-2020). Specifically, EPRD will provide support aimed to: • Improve the general understanding (of the EU Delegation and development partners) on the performance of PFM system, the budget credibility and transparency, and the credibility of macro-economic system of Lao PDR. This will firstly involve identifying the measures that need to be prioritised to ensure progress. • Improve the understanding of the Government of Lao PDR (GoL) on the EU's system of budget support; thereby supporting GoL in identifying the measures that need to be prioritized to ensure progress and for EU's BS Programme to be effective. The contract will be implemented from December 2015 to October 2016.
