EPRD has been selected to undertake the project “Neighbourhood Civil Society Facility”. The overall objective is to strengthen and promote civil society's role in reforms and democratic changes taking place in Neighbourhood countries(Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine (Eastern Neighbourhood region, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia (Southern Neighbourhood region) through increased participation in the fulfilment of Neighbourhood Policy objectives and also increased public accountability, including increased understanding and knowledge by CSOs of EU (ENP) policy instruments and programmes, new aid modalities, EU procedures and improving CSO´s technical skills to respond to calls for proposals.
