Study on introducing an intermodal (piggyback) transportation solution across the EU/CU border

Specific objectives of the project are to analyse applicable international/national legal basis for regulating the combined/intermodal transportation across the EU/CU and study feasibility for the piggyback transportation. EPRD will prepare: • The case studies of the piggyback transportation, including the trial project Helsinki – St. Petersburg; • A report of legal analysis; • An outline of the multimodal transport network in regard of the Northern Dimension Partnership for Transport and Logistics (NDPTL) Regional Transport Network; • An outline of the business case development. The project will be implemented from 15/01/2013 to 31/07/2013
