“Provision of Technical Assistance related to IPA funds in the field of Environment - Water Sector” - Croatia

According to the project IPAIIIb Programmes EPRD is going to support Croatia in financing infrastructure projects in the field of environment. The implementation of these projects are part of the Acquis Communautaire, Croatia had to adopt in order to become a Member State of the European Union. At present the projects mentioned in table 2 are in process or envisaged. In general they are aiming at the following: • Improvement and extension of existing water supply networks, construction of water reservoirs. Respective work contracts are regularly based on FIDIC Red book contracts. • Improvement and extension of existing sewerage networks, river undercrossings and construction of pumping stations. Respective work contracts are regularly based on FIDIC Red book contracts. • Design and construction of wastewater treatment plants, regularly based on FIDIC yellow book contracts. • Supply of equipment, such as jet tankers for cleaning sewer lines and vehicles equippedwith electronic devices for monitoring the sewer, for leak detection, including respective software and training of personel.
