Study of pre conditions and direction policies for spatial management for the gmina of Przecław

In pursuance of the requirements determined by the act dated on 7 July 1994 about the spatial planning, the main objective of the elaboration of conditions and directions of spatial planning in the study is to define the spatial policy of the gmina . It is the answer to the question which relates to aims and measures of spatial management of the gmina in the long term. The gmina of Przecław is situated in the west part of the podkarpackie voivodship (before 1.01.1999 rzeszowskie voivodship) and is included in mielecki’s poviat. The area of the gmina has about 134 km2 and is divided into 11 rural communities. Population of the gmina is about 11 thousand inhabitants. The residence of the gmina is situated about 18,5 km north of the road no 4 and 52 km east of Tarnów and also 47 km west of Rzeszów – the capital of Podkarpackie voivodship. The area of the gmina has elongated shape in the direction east-west. The length of the gmina is about 16 km but it is 10 km wide in the north-south direction. The gmina of Przecław is situaded in Province of Karpaty and Podkarpacie, smaller province of northen Podkarpacie, Makroregion Sanndomierska valley and within the limits of three Mezoregions: Plateau of Kolbuszowski (the east part of the gmina), Valley of Dolna Wisłoka (central part) and Plateau Tarnowski (the west part) Via the central part of the gmina runs the road no 985 (north-south direction) from Mielec to Dębica
