The construction of the Bar-Vrbnica line in the 70s was the largest railway construction undertaking in Europe at the time. The reconstruction/rehabilitation of the line Bar-Vrbnica is subdivided into numerous tenders and works contracts, largely with funding from EIB, EBRD, IPA and national funds. IPA funding is currently supporting the rehabilitation of the 9.9 km section Trebaljevo – Kolašin. The EU Delegation to Montenegro will finance under National Programme IPA 2010 a second section of the line. The section to be rehabilitated under IPA financing is between Mijatovo to Mojkovac. The Detailed Design for the section Mijatovo Kolo to Mojkovac has been issued by local designers, according with the local legislation in force. The reconstruction section Mijatovo Kolo – Mojkovac has been introduced in IPA 2010 National Programme. The action will be implemented through one works contract to be implemented by the European Union Delegation to Montenegro. Global objective To provide support for launching the tender procedure for one works contracts following the provisions of the relevant legal documents. Specific objective(s) To prepare a final Tender Dossier for the works contract "Railway rehabilitation between Mijatovo Kolo and Mojkovac ".Act as an evaluator in the evaluation committee for selecting the contractor according with the applicable tender procedure
