The Delegation of the European Commission in the Republic of Croatia is enforcing the ex-ante control of the IPA tendering procedures. The aim of this intervention is to provide the Delegation with technical expertise for the technical checking of the tender dossiers, participation at the evaluation committees and monitoring of implementation of projects. IPA component Illb foresees the co-fmancing of infrastructure, services and supplies in the field of -Water supply -Waste water collection -Waste water treatment Entailing respective -Works contracts, -Service contracts -Supply contracts . Global and specific objectives 1.To assist the EC Delegation in the ex-ante approval procedure of tender dossiers for projects financed by IPA component Illb. 2,To assist the EC Delegation in assessment and in evaluation of submitted bids for project under the IPA component Illb. 3. To assist the EC Delegation in monitoring the implementation of the works contracts under the IPA Programme component Illb.
