Project description:

The purposes of this contract are as follows: - To foster introduction of the new, high-quality curricula, based on the results/milestones of the CARDS/IPA VET programme, and related systemic approach to the development of innovative culture in the VET schools in line with the needs on the labour market at the local and/or regional level; - To develop professional capacities of the AVET and the VET schools for successful preparation and implementation of the IPA IV HRD grant scheme and future projects that will be financed from the European Social Fund (ESF). Component 1 shall look at new system-wide solutions related to assuring quality and sustainability of successful pilot-testing and school-based innovations in accordance with the accomplished results of the VET reform at the national level. Proceeding from the work undertaken under CARDS programme as well as national initiatives, this component will further promote a systemic approach to development of the VET pilot-schools, which is, to a great extent new for Croatia. Component 2 aims at enlarging the group of VET schools in Croatia who have an up-to-date knowledge and skills on what makes up a relevant, feasible and sustainable project in line with the EU standards. Major outputs of this component are both the contribution to the design of project proposals to be funded under the relevant IPA grant scheme as well as under the ESF, upon the accession.
