The objective of the project is to strengthen the Ministry of Health’s institutional, technical, managerial and operational capacities across key health system functions and priority clinical programmes. This support will aim to enable evidence-based planning and decision-making, improve quality and governance of health services, and contribute to a sustainable, coordinated transition from humanitarian response to early recovery and health system development in line with national priorities.

To provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Health and the Syrian Board across planning, HR, PHC, nursing, cancer control and postgraduate medical education, strengthening institutional systems, governance, workforce capacity and data-driven decision-making. The role will support the development and implementation of sustainable tools, policies, digital systems and capacity-building initiatives aligned with the National Health Strategic Plan and international standards.
